CIPCON-2017 was 39th annual conference of Central psychiatric Society-Central zone. It was organised by Dr Dhananjay chaudhari and Dr Ganesh Shanker at GSVM Medical College Kanpur. Conference was a huge success. Four presidents of Indian psychiatrist Society-Dr MSVK Raju, Dr Mrugesh Vaishnav, Dr PK Dalal, and Dr Gautam Saha attended this conference.

National mid-term CME 2018 was a wonderful event.
It was organised at the beautiful Orchha Palace near Jhansi.

National CME on youth mental health was organised in year 2018 at GSVM medical College Kanpur.
It was organised by “Youth Mental Health-Speciality Section” of Indian psychiatric Society with office bearer Dr. Tushar Jagawat, Dr. Dhananjay Chaudhary and Dr. Dhananjay Asturkar. Dr. Ganesh Shanker was the organising secretary of this event.

CIPCON-2019 was organised by Dr. J P Narayan and Dr. Amarjeet Singh in the beautiful city of The TAJ, Agra.
The conference was organised at hotel JP Palace, a very beautiful venue.

Indian Psychiatric Society Madhya Pradesh Branch held its 14th annual conference “MP-PSYCON-2020” at Bhopal on 9th January 2021. This conference was first of its kind which was conducted in hybrid mode and attended by more than 150 Psychiatrists from all over India.
This year’s conference featured the theme on “COVID and Mental Health” and drew many psychiatrists & post-graduate scholars from entire Madhya Pradesh to present their research papers and participate in theme-related presentations.
The conference started with post graduate students presenting their posters and papers. Following this there were warm welcome remarks and session on IPS FOUNDATION WEEK made by Dr. P.K Dalal, President of the Indian Psychiatric society, which was immediately followed by motivational words by Dr. Gautam Saha, vice-president IPS. With the lightening of the auspicious lamp inauguration ceremony started and was followed by presidential address by Dr. Rajeev Jain, newly elected president of IPS-MP STATE BRANCH, Secretory Report by Dr. Manish Borasi.
Annual General Body meeting held during the conference elected Dr. Vaibhav Dubey as Vice-President, Dr. Pritesh Goutam as General Secretary, Dr. Manish Borasi as Treasurer (Past hony’general secretary), Dr. Vijender Singh as Editor, Dr. J.P. Agarwal as Scientific Committee and CME Chairperson. Dr. Sanjeet Diwan & Dr. Vijay Niranjan were elected as Executive Members. Dr. S.K. Tandon, Dr. Rajani Chatterjee and Dr. Ruma Bhattacharya were the other eminent members of the society present during the conference.

We also organized a very interactive panel discussion of media persons and mental health professionals on the topic of media and mental health. About 250 delegates attended the conference on the online platform. A good number of research papers and award papers were presented by trainee residents.
